Information Technology excels and advances in the QS World Ranking for 2026
The specializations of the Faculty of Technology at Yarmouk University achieved a qualitative milestone by entering the (101–200) category globally in the QS World University Rankings by Subject for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence this year for the first time. This step reflects the accelerated and sustainable progress in the academic and research journey of the faculty and the academic reputation of its students and graduates.
The ranking of the Computer Science and Information Systems program also jumped to the (301-350) category.
This achievement comes as a result of the continuous efforts made by the esteemed members of the academic staff, and the solid scientific output and high-quality research contributions they provide, which have enhanced the college's presence at both the regional and international levels, and directly contributed to elevating Yarmouk University's status and solidifying its academic reputation.
The family of the Faculty of Information Technology, while proud of this progress, affirms that what has been achieved was not a coincidence, but the result of serious and sound institutional work, a clear vision, and a steadfast commitment to excellence and quality.
