In the context of Yarmouk University and the Faculty of Information Technology's interest in actively participating in specialized scientific activities, Dr. Islam Al-Maghaireh represented the Dean of the Faculty at the scientific seminar organized by the Union of Arab Universities under the title "Transforming the Future."
The seminar hosted Professor Omar Hattamleh, an international expert in artificial intelligence and Chief AI Officer at NASA, with wide participation from academics and researchers from Jordanian and Arab universities.
The seminar addressed the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence and its rapid impacts on various sectors. The seminar discussed the growing role of artificial intelligence in reshaping educational systems, scientific research, and various vital sectors, while also highlighting the ethical dimensions and future challenges associated with the use of these technologies. The seminar sessions also emphasized the importance of adopting flexible educational policies that keep pace with technological advancements and contribute to preparing graduates capable of competing in the future job market.
