In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O Allah, we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, You are the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.
I had the honor today of conducting a training workshop in the auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine, graciously invited by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Medicine. The workshop was titled:
استخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي في البحث العلمي من البداية إلى النشر
It was a wonderful meeting in every sense, and I was delighted to meet a distinguished group of faculty members from the College of Medicine. I sincerely thank them for their keen interest and remarkable attendance, along with their students. This is a testament to their passion for scientific research and the use of artificial intelligence tools.
The meeting included discussions, questions, and active and wonderful participation from faculty members of the College of Medicine as well as from the College of Engineering. It was delightful that some faculty members and students from the College of Information Technology and Computer Science were present, enriching the meeting with further discussions. The workshop was a beautiful mosaic.
I thank the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for granting me a certificate of appreciation for this workshop, which lasted for more than two hours. During it, a set of ethical guidelines for using artificial intelligence in scientific research was reviewed, as well as some of the most advanced AI tools in this field and their remarkable capabilities in accelerating the pace of scientific research across all scientific fields. We also discussed how to use them ethically so that our research is scientifically and robustly accepted.
I thank Dr. Suha Al-Baytawi, Dr. Heba Al-Zoubi, the Vise Dean Dr. Maryam Al-Amri, and all the faculty members of the College of Medicine who attended, both those whose names I know and those I do not. I thank you for honoring me with a certificate that I cherish from you, and I thank God first and foremost.
All the attendees expressed their immense benefit from the workshop, and this is a blessing from God Almighty.
In this regard, I can only extend my heartfelt thanks to Professor Dr. Qassem Al-Radaideh, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, for providing this opportunity and for his unwavering encouragement of such beneficial initiatives.
