The Faculty of Information Technology receives a delegation from the International Summit Academy.
The Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at Yarmouk University received a delegation from the International Summit Academy as part of a program aimed at introducing students to technical specializations and enhancing their scientific and practical skills.
The Assistant Dean of the College for Student Affairs, Dr. Qusai Al-Zoubi, welcomed the visiting delegation, which included a group of academy students and members of both the administrative and academic staff, appreciating the academy's commitment to providing its students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the university education environment and the various information technology specializations at Yarmouk University.
During the visit, Professor Imad Shawqafah presented a comprehensive introductory lecture about the college, its academic departments, and its scientific and research achievements, in addition to the quality programs it offers that meet the labor market's demands in the fields of artificial intelligence, information security, and software engineering.
Dr. Ziad Al-Hailat also spoke about the uses of artificial intelligence in information retrieval and the preparation of engineering projects, showcasing the most prominent modern applications in this field, and explaining how artificial intelligence can contribute to developing innovative technological solutions that serve the community.
