Information Technology organizes a workshop in collaboration with the Production Association.
In response to the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission's plan to develop IT programs regarding linking the graduation projects of IT students with the industry, the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at Yarmouk University hosted Dr. Jaafar Shahabat, Director of Scope X Training and Consulting Company and responsible for the TechForward initiative, which connects graduation projects with the industry in partnership with the Production Association and supported by GIZ, to discuss the initiative and clarify its concepts.
The director of the initiative at the Production Association, Dr. Shahabat, explained that the initiative aims to create effective communication bridges between universities and the business sector by involving academics and students with companies from the early stages of project development. The goal is to transform students' ideas into applicable and marketable products and services that meet the changing market demands, as well as to engage students in finding solutions to issues raised by companies.
The workshop was attended by faculty members of the college and supervisors of the graduation projects for this semester.
