أThe Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at Yarmouk University organized the Linux Fundamentals competition, the first of its kind at the university level, by the DEVIT student team from the faculty.
At the conclusion of the event, which was sponsored by the Dean of the College, Dr. Qassem Al-Radaideh, the winners and outstanding participants were honored in recognition of their efforts and to encourage them to continue learning and developing.Student Ahmad Al-Quran secured the first place, while student Louay Dalki came in second, and student Mohamed Barbaree achieved third place.
The students competed in an atmosphere filled with challenges and problems they tried to solve, covering essential areas in the Linux operating system such as basic commands, file and folder management, permissions, and process management, allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge practically in a competitive environment.
