The Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, in collaboration with the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, organized an event to showcase the research completed in the master's theses of students from various programs within the faculty. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Qasem Al-Radaideh, and the Deputy Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Dima Dradka.
Al-Radaideh emphasized the importance of organizing activities that would enhance the dissemination of scientific research culture and encourage graduate students to complete their theses, which positively reflects on the quality of academic work in the college and the university.
For her part, Al-Daradkeh emphasized the importance of collaboration between various colleges at the university and the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, which contributes to the completion of distinguished scientific theses, motivates students to exert research efforts to produce high-level and high-quality university theses, and encourages students to use various global research sources to keep up with scientific developments and global research.
In this event, Dr. Ahmad Al-Taani presented a talk on academic plagiarism and the use of artificial intelligence tools. Dr. Ziad Hilat also presented a talk on research ethics in the fields of information technology and data usage.
Several students from the college's various master's programs participated in the presentations, where they showcased their research methodologies, the significance of their completed topics, and the stages they have reached. A discussion ensued between the students and the audience, which included a group of faculty members and master's students from the college. The event was organized and moderated by the Vice Dean, Dr. Imad Al-Shawafkeh.
