Research meeting at the Faculty of Information Technology
As part of the research days series at the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Rami Mahawesh from the Department of Information Systems delivered an engaging and informative research lecture filled with challenges on the topic:
Detecting fake reviews using advanced artificial intelligence techniques.
During and after the lecture, a scientific discussion took place with the faculty members who attended the lecture from the college.
Dr. Mahawesh indicated that he has published more than three research papers related to the topic in internationally classified Q1 journals. The researcher and attendees enriched the topic with discussions and ideas, and they touched upon promising research directions and prospects in this field that could be built upon in distinguished joint research between researchers, as well as topics that could serve as master's theses for students in the college's master's programs.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College, Dr. Qassem Al-Radaideh, thanked the lecturer, Dr. Rami Mahawesh, and the activity coordinator, Dr. Nawaf Al-Sraihin.
