The% 00Byte team from the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at Yarmouk University which composed of students Abdullah Al-Rashdan, Firas Al-Sarkas, Mansour Al-Hamoud, and Saif Abu Ashour, won first place in the Jordanian National Information Security Competition JORDAN INFOSEC 2019. the Competition was recently organized by the Zain Innovation Platform at Yarmouk University (ZINC YU) by Technnaoui Company under the supervision of Engineer Muhammad Khreisheh, with more than 70 students from various Jordanian universities.

A number of college students also participated in the competition, including Rima Al-Zoubi, Hanin Obeidat, Aya Abu Rashid, Dania Al-Jahmani, Muhammad Orabi, Adam Sabah, Omar Yahya, Ghaith Muhammad, Mu'tasim Salama, Laith Al-Ajlouni, Ammar Dweikat, Muhammad Al-Jarrah, Anas Bani Laith , And Mahmoud Malkawi.

In turn, the Assistant Dean of the College of Information Technology and Computer Science Dr. Ahmed Kulaib praised the distinguished level of the competition, which witnessed the intense competition between the competing teams until the last minute of the competition. he explaining that the competition aims to expand the awareness of Jordanian universities students and guide them to the right path in the field of information security, and qualify them to enter and participate in competitions Global of this kind, pointing out that the competition included several axes, the most important of which are penetration testing of web applications, examination of networks and service systems, decryption, programming, analysis of communications across networks and analysis of Android programs.
